Introducing Groom & Play

Play all day, leave looking fabulous.

A Better Kind of Bath

Welcome to The Paw Spa. From a quick bath to a full makeover, our experienced groomers help your fur-baby look and feel their absolute best. Fetch Me Later offers a full range of dog grooming services in McKinney, TX — from a basic bath and nail trim to a full groom, and anything in between. Our highly trained, experienced staff will work with you to achieve the exact look you want for your fur-baby.

For ultimate relaxation and cleanliness, we utilize the Batherbox system, which delivers a continuous flow of warm water and shampoo at just the right pressure and flow to clean and gently massage your pup all the way down to their skin — helping to reduce stress and make bath time a far more soothing experience. The right products matter just as much as this innovative deep-cleaning system. That’s why we use only the finest products, suited to every coat type and chosen to deliver the nutrients needed for healthy, lustrous skin and coats.

One Dog. One Groomer.
All the Attention.

At Fetch Me Later, grooming isn’t a numbers game. We groom one dog at a time — no cage banks, no crowded tables, no grooming conveyor belt. Just your dog, their groomer, and a calm, quiet space where the whole experience is built around them.

That matters more than most people realize. Many dogs who struggle at traditional grooming salons do just fine here, because the chaos of a busy salon, the presence of other dogs, and the stress of waiting in a crate simply aren’t part of the equation.

Here, grooming is a personal experience. Unhurried, attentive, and for many dogs, genuinely enjoyable.

We don’t ask everyone to drop off at the same time in the morning so we can push through the day’s “inventory.” Every appointment is its own experience, from start to finish, with one groomer focused entirely on one dog.

First Grooms Matter

Our one-on-one approach is particularly important for puppies. A dog’s first few grooming experiences set the trajectory for every groom that follows. When those early visits are calm, positive, and free of overwhelm, grooming becomes something a dog learns to expect — and even enjoy — for life. When they’re rushed and chaotic, the opposite can happen. We take the first groom seriously because your dog will remember it.

Groom & Play

For pet parents who can’t sit around waiting for a groom — or who simply want their dog to make the most of their day — Groom & Play is the answer.

Drop your dog off for daycare as early as 7 a.m. They’ll spend the day playing, socializing, and enjoying all of our regular daycare activities. In the afternoon, we’ll bring them in for their groom so they’re freshly cleaned, trimmed, and ready to go by the time you pick them up — as late as 7 p.m. Just let us know your preferred pickup time when booking and we’ll take care of the rest.

Groom & Play is just $15 on top of the regular grooming charge and includes all standard daycare services and activities. It’s grooming that fits your schedule — not the other way around.

Please note: Groom & Play participants must meet all daycare vaccination requirements, including Leptospirosis. Standard grooming appointments do not require Leptospirosis.

Why Regular Grooming Matters

Grooming is about much more than appearance. Regular sessions support healthy skin and coats, keep shedding under control, and prevent painful matting before it starts. Trimmed nails matter too — when nails grow too long, they can change the way a dog walks and strain joints. Every groom also doubles as a wellness check: a trained set of hands is often the first to notice changes hiding under the coat, like skin irritation, lumps, or ear trouble.

  • Healthier Skin & Coat — Specialized tools remove dead fur, distribute natural oils, and support coat health from root to tip.
  • Healthy Paws — Properly trimmed nails keep your dog walking comfortably and prevent posture or joint issues over time.
  • Early Detection — Our groomers keep a watchful eye for signs of dryness, hot spots, or other concerns that may be hiding under the coat.
  • Less Mess at Home — Regular grooming dramatically reduces shedding — fewer fur tumbleweeds, cleaner furniture, happier household.

Experienced Care You Can Trust

At Fetch Me Later, your fur-baby is in the care of highly trained specialists, backed by a team that includes a Pet Tech®-certified instructor in pet First Aid and CPR — all part of the family-owned resort McKinney has trusted since 1998.

Dog Grooming FAQ

What vaccinations are required for grooming?

All grooming guests must be current on required vaccinations, including Rabies (1–3 years, determined by vet); DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis (Adenovirus), Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus); and Bordetella within the last 6 months (we require Bordetella every 6 months, even if your veterinarian administers an annual injection).

Please note: Leptospirosis is not required for standard grooming appointments. However, if your pup will be joining us for Groom & Play, it is required.

Are appointments required?

Yes. Please call us or book online to get your appointment started.

How often should my dog be groomed?

Most dogs do best with regular professional grooming every 4–8 weeks, depending on breed, coat type, and lifestyle. Long or curly coats generally need more frequent visits; short-coated breeds can often go a little longer between appointments.

Can you groom my puppy?

Absolutely — and we encourage it. Our one-on-one, calm environment is the ideal setting for a puppy’s introduction to grooming — positive, unhurried, and stress-free from the very start.
