Introducing Groom & Play
Play all day, leave looking fabulous.
A Cleaner, Calmer Way to Bathe
Step inside The Paw Spa, where every Frisco dog bath and grooming visit is built around one goal: your dog leaving happier and more comfortable than when they arrived. Fetch Me Later’s grooming team handles everything from a simple bath and nail trim to a complete head-to-tail groom, tailoring each appointment to the look you have in mind for your fur-baby.
Every bath starts with the Batherbox system — a steady, gently pressurized flow of warm water and shampoo that reaches all the way down to the skin rather than just skimming the coat. It’s a noticeably calmer experience for most dogs, turning bath time into something closer to a massage than a chore.
Great equipment only gets you halfway there, though. That’s why the products matter just as much: each coat type is matched with shampoo and conditioner chosen specifically for it, delivering the nutrients skin and coat need to stay healthy and shine long after the appointment ends.
Why One Dog at a Time Changes Everything
Most grooming salons run on volume — multiple dogs on the floor at once, multiple tables working at the same time, a schedule built to move as many appointments through as possible.
Dogs pick up on more than people expect. A salon with dogs stacked in crates, clippers running back to back, and a lobby full of barking creates a level of tension some dogs never shake off during the visit — remove those triggers and the same dog often settles right down.
It’s a shift Frisco pet parents notice fast, especially if their dog has come home stressed from a busier Main Street salon before. Ask around and you’ll hear the same thing: their dog goes from dreading grooming day to trotting in without a fight.
Scheduling reflects that same philosophy — no cattle-call drop-off window in the morning. Each dog is booked into a set block of time, and the groomer assigned to that block isn’t juggling three other appointments at once.
First Grooms Make All the Difference
Puppies benefit from this the most. A dog’s very first grooming session shapes how it feels about every session that comes after it — get it right, and a puppy grows into a dog that walks into the salon without a second thought. Get it wrong, and that anxiety can stick around for years. Fetch Me Later treats every puppy’s first visit as a foundational moment, not just another booking, because that early impression is hard to undo later.

Groom & Play: Grooming That Fits a Full Day
Some pet parents would rather skip the sit-and-wait entirely, and Groom & Play is built for exactly that: your dog gets a full day at daycare, and the grooming happens somewhere in the middle of it.
Bring your dog in as early as our doors open at 7 a.m., and they’ll join the regular daycare group for the day — same playtime, same socializing. The grooming appointment gets worked in during the afternoon, so whenever you swing by (our latest pickup runs until 7 p.m.), they’re already bathed and trimmed. Just flag your expected pickup window when you make the booking.
Adding a groom onto a daycare day costs just $15 above the standard grooming price and includes every regular daycare activity.
Please note: dogs joining Groom & Play need to meet all daycare vaccination requirements, including Leptospirosis — a standard grooming-only appointment does not require it.
Why Regular Grooming Matters
Looks are the least important reason to keep up with grooming. Underneath the surface, regular visits keep a coat from matting into painful clumps, keep shedding from taking over the house, and keep nails short enough that a dog’s gait and joints aren’t paying the price years down the line. There’s a wellness angle too — a groomer’s hands cover nearly every inch of a dog’s body on a routine basis, which means skin issues, lumps, or sore spots often get caught before an owner would ever notice them at home.
- Fewer Surprises at the Vet — A groomer’s hands cover ground a quick pet-down never does, so hot spots, dry patches, or lumps tend to surface here first.
- Less Fur Around the House — Fewer loose hairs on the couch, the car seats, and the floor — grooming does a lot of that cleanup before it ever reaches your living room.
- Comfortable, Pain-Free Paws — Nails kept at the right length so a dog’s walk stays natural instead of compensating for overgrown claws.
- A Coat That Actually Feels Good — The right tools work loose fur free and spread natural oils through the coat, so it stays soft and healthy instead of just looking presentable.
A Team Frisco Pet Parents Can Trust
Since 1998, this family-owned pet resort has earned its reputation the same way with every dog that comes through the door: skilled hands and real training. One team member holds a Pet Tech® certification to teach pet First Aid and CPR, and that standard carries through the whole grooming staff. Frisco pet parents are part of a client base spanning Collin County that keeps coming back because of it.
Dog Grooming FAQ
What vaccinations are required for grooming?
All grooming guests must be current on required vaccinations, including Rabies (1–3 years, determined by vet); DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis (Adenovirus), Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus); and Bordetella within the last 6 months (we require Bordetella every 6 months, even if your veterinarian administers an annual injection).
Please note: Leptospirosis is not required for standard grooming appointments. However, if your pup will be joining us for Groom & Play, it is required.

Are appointments required?
Yes. Please call us or book online to get your appointment started.
How often should my dog be groomed?
Most dogs do best with regular professional grooming every 4–8 weeks, depending on breed, coat type, and lifestyle. Long or curly coats generally need more frequent visits; short-coated breeds can often go a little longer between appointments.
Can you groom my puppy?
Absolutely — and we encourage it. Our one-on-one, calm environment is the ideal setting for a puppy’s introduction to grooming — positive, unhurried, and stress-free from the very start.
