Why Cage-Free Boarding Makes a Difference

Cats are territorial creatures of habit, and an unfamiliar environment can sometimes be stressful. Cage-free boarding delivers what cats naturally seek: room to roam, vertical space to climb and perch, and quiet hideaways for when they’d rather have time to themselves.

Our Cattery is located in the lobby — which, as it turns out, most cats love. There’s always something to watch: dogs and their people coming and going, familiar faces at the front desk, and the general hum of a busy, welcoming place. For cats who are curious by nature, it’s prime entertainment. (And pet parents dropping off often like to say ‘Hi,’ too!)

And while the Cattery has a view of the lobby where canine guest pass through, dog boarding takes place in a separate buildings — so the noise level stays low and our feline residents can enjoy the view without the disruption.

Cat Boarding FAQ

What vaccinations are required for cat boarding?

All feline guests must be current on required vaccinations, including Rabies (1-3 years, determined by vet); FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia); and Feline Leukemia (FeLV). If there has been a time lapse between vaccine updates or if a new vaccine is being administered, we require vaccines to be administered 14 days before the stay.

Fetch Me Later will obtain veterinary records for each of its guests directly from the family’s veterinarian.

Fetch Me Later will not accept vaccines that have not been administered by a licensed veterinarian.

Is the Cattery completely separate from the dogs?

Yes — the Cattery is its own dedicated, cage-free room, well away from where our canine guests board.

Can I bring my cat's own food?

Of course. We also offer house food for free grazing, but you’re welcome to bring their usual food. Keep in mind that this is cage free boarding and we have no way to control which kitty eats which food. If your cat must have a certain diet, this is not a good boarding option.

Do you administer medication?

Yes, as needed. Please note that we do not administer injectable medications.

What are The Cattery’s rates?

The cost for the cattery is $35 per cat, with a 10% discount for parents boarding 3 or more cats.

What are drop off and pick up times?

We welcome our feline boarding guests any time during normal office hours: 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday.
